Unilux VHP uses advanced electronics to better
control the heat pump unit and prevent damage to the heat pump and building. The wet switch is part of the protection system included with your heat pump unit.

The wet switch is installed into the Heat Pump to detect excess moisture. It is the ultimate safety sensor net for water detection. If moisture is detected in the bottom of the cabinet, it shuts down the unit preventing water from entering the unit. This could be as a result of an overflow in the drain pan or a leak somewhere else.
